Earnings show no sign of slowing down next week, as traders are hit with yet another barrage of reports, including data from blue chips Procter & Gamble Co (NYSE:PG) and Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE). After last week's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) policy meeting, this week brings the closely watched nonfarm payrolls report, and Dallas Fed President Rob Kaplan will speak on monetary policy and the economy at a conference in Beijing.

Below is a brief list of some key market events scheduled for the upcoming week. All earnings dates listed below are tentative and subject to change. Please check with each company's respective website for official reporting dates.

Monday, August 1

The week kicks off with construction spending data, the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) manufacturing index, and Markit's manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI). For earnings, AMC Entertainment (AMC), Changeyou.com (CYOU), Diamond Offshore Drilling (DO), First Data (FDC), General Growth Properties (GGP), Loews Corp (L), Sohu.com (SOHU), T2 Biosystems (TTOO), Terex (TEX), Texas Roadhouse (TXRH), and Williams Companies (WMB) are set to report.

Tuesday, August 2

Dallas Fed President Rob Kaplan will speak in Beijing, while at home, the economic docket includes personal income and spending data and July auto sales. Earnings reports are expected from PG, PFE, Fitbit (FIT)First Solar (FSLR), Aetna (AET), Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), CVS (CVS), Etsy (ETSY),Glu Mobile (GLUU), Honda Motor Co (HMC), Intrepid Potash (IPI), La Quinta Holdings (LQ), LifeLock (LOCK), Mallinckrodt (MNK), Molson Coors Brewing (TAP), Mosaic Co (MOS)Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH), Papa John's (PZZA), Qorvo (QRVO), Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL), Shire (SHPG)SodaStream International (SODA), Tableau Software (DATA), and Zagg Inc (ZAGG).

Wednesday, August 3
 
Wednesday's economic reports include the ADP private-sector employment report and the ISM non-manufacturing index. The weekly update on crude inventories will also be released. On the earnings front, Tesla Motors (TSLA), Transocean LTD (RIG)Herbalife (HLF), 3D Systems (DDD), Agrium (AGU), Autohome (ATHM), AVG Tech (AVG), Boyd Gaming (BYD), CF Industries (CF), Clorox (CLX), Crocs (CROX), Ctrip (CTRP), Delphi Automotive (DLPH), GoDaddy (GDDY), Humana (HUM)Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA), Kate Spade (KATE), Marathon Oil (MRO), Metlife (MET), Office Depot (ODP), Prudential Financial (PRU), Sequenom (SQNM), and Time Warner (TWX) are expected to report.

Thursday, August 4

June factory orders will be released on Thursday, along with weekly jobless claims. LinkedIn (LNKD), Priceline (PCLN), TASER International (TASR)Chesapeake Energy (CHK), Nokia (NOK), and FireEye (FEYE) will step up to the earnings confessional, as well as Activision Blizzard (ATVI), AMC Networks (AMCX), Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (ARWR), BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX), BioMarin Pharmaceutical (BMRN), Duke Energy (DUK), Gogo Inc (GOGO), Hecla Mining (HCLA), HHGregg (HGG), Iron Mountain (IRM), Kellogg (K), Kraft Heinz Co (KHC), MGM Resorts (MGM), Monster Beverage (MNST), Pacific Biosciences (PACB), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN)Relypsa (RLYP), SeaWorld Entertainment (SEAS), Stratasys (SSYS), Symantec (SYMC), Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO), Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA), Tripadvisor (TRIP), Universal Display (OLED), Viacom (VIAB), VIVUS (VVUS), Weight Watchers International (WTW), Zillow Group (ZG), and Zynga (ZNGA).

On the economic front, July's nonfarm payrolls report and consumer credit stats will hit, as well as the international trade balance. The earnings agenda is a bit quieter, with notable earnings reports due from Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTSH), Virgin America (VA), and Weyerhaeuser (WY)
