Looking at notable put activity, Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc (NYSE:LL) puts crossed at 20 times the normal pace, after the company's earnings miss. Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) also saw accelerated put volume -- 10 times normal -- after releasing disappointing earnings. (The increased put activity coincided with short-selling restrictions for both LL and DIS.)
Following a strong second-quarter earnings report, First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR) calls crossed at nearly six times the expected pace. Ahead of earnings, GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE:GDDY) calls changed hands at about 18 times the typical rate.
