The Dow scored a fourth-straight win today
As Nvidia (NVDA) goes, so goes Wall Street. With the chip giant succumbing to profit taking for a second-straight day, tech stocks and the Nasdaq closed red. The Dow eked out its fourth-straight win, while the S&P 500 finished off 8 points after spending the day on both sides of breakeven. Despite the choppy session, all three major indexes secured a weekly win.

Weekly Wins for Oil, Gold
Oil prices stumbled into the weekend, with August-dated West Intermediate (WTI) crude shedding 56 cents, or 0.7%, to settle at $80.73 per barrel. For the week, black gold added 3.4%.
A rising U.S. dollar weighed on gold today. August-dated gold shed 1.6% higher, to settle at $2,331.20 an ounce. Gold managed a modest win for the week.
