Several Fed speakers will take the mic
Compared to this week's jam-packed slate, the week ahead could be breather of sorts for investors. We'll hear from a trio of Fed speakers at the start of the week, while housing data and earnings reports from the likes of Kroger (KR), FedEx (FDX), and Micron Technology (MU) will help keep things interesting.
However, the big focus will be Friday, when the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) meeting starts in Vienna, Austria. Investors will be eyeing the meeting for news of a possible production increase, especially after President Donald Trump recently took to Twitter to blast the organization for high oil prices.
