Happy Black Friday! The stock market was closed for a full day yesterday in observance of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Today, the market will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. ET for a shortened schedule.

Data from Akerna (NASDAQ:KERN) indicated an projection of $90 million in cannabis sales on Wednesday, marking the highest single-day revenue for the industry just behind 4/20. According to a business intelligence architect at Akerna, "Whether people are turning to cannabis for relaxation, to nurture a sense of togetherness, or for other reasons, consumers have made it clear that cannabis is part of Thanksgiving preparation."
