Due to the nature of these services, the trade recommendations are published when the market isn’t open. Subscribers receive the trades on Sunday nights and may place the orders on Sunday evening or Monday morning, both before the market opens.
By utilizing this wording, we are advising customers to use the latest available ask (offer) price for guidance in determining their personal limit order, as the ask price at the close of business on Friday could be different from the
ask price on Monday morning. Unlike real-time alert services, we are advising that customers use their best judgment in placing a limit order, using the last ask price as guidance.
